Big-time athlete with prototype size. Campbell has class-leading GPS top speed and change of direction times. You see it all over his tape. He can play from sideline to sideline and run with just about everyone. He is both explosive and fluid as a mover and does so at 6’3", 240 pounds.
Pass-rush prowess. Campbell has excellent reps rushing the passer from both the EDGE and off-ball alignments. On the edge, he has a fantastic jump and is flexible in the lower half, allowing him to bend and run the arc. As a blitzer from off-ball alignments, he has a feel for timing and is a mismatch against guards, tight ends, and backs.
Ideal toolbox to become a coverage weapon. Campbell has the athleticism and length to be a significant weapon in coverage. Currently, he excels in man-to-man assignments and is capable of locking down tight ends and running backs.
Run defense and stopping power. Campbell has a quick trigger and can cover a lot of ground in a hurry. His range is mind-blowing. When he enters tackle engagements on the move, he hits with force and employs a good wrap technique to shut down the play and prevent extra yards. He can bring the wood and absolutely de-cleat runners that aren’t ready for contact.
Instincts off-ball need to improve. Campbell has played primary off-ball linebacker for only two seasons and is still a work in progress. His spatial awareness and instincts are just a tick behind right now. He makes up for slight processing delays with his athleticism most of the time, but the NFL is a different ball game.
Not a strong take-on player yet. Campbell is not a stack-and-shed linebacker or someone who will come up and take on a lead blocker. For the most part, he tries to beat blockers to the spot or dip their blocks. I would like to see more physicality from him in this regard.
Coming off severe injury. Campbell injured his shoulder towards the end of the season.
Campbell is one of the most naturally gifted linebacker prospects to come out the last five years. He has all the tools to become an all-pro caliber linebacker; he just needs to land with a coach who can help him put it all together. The linebacker position has been devalued in the league, but a line of demarcation is whether they can affect the pass game at a high level. Campbell absolutely can as both a pass-rusher and a coverage player. He is a top-20 player overall.

All-American First Team (2024)
Butkus Award finalist (2024)
Burlsworth Trophy semifinalist (most outstanding player who started as a walk-on) (2024)
All-Big Ten First Team (2024)

Led the FBS in solo tackles in 2024 (90)
Exceptional range and tackling ability. Schwesinger is a big-time asset in the run game. He is an explosive player who can run sideline to sideline. He has a natural ability to find the football and is a tackling machine, leading the Power-4 in tackles this past season. His instincts and processing are top-notch.
Ability to make an impact on pass-downs. Schwesinger is a work in progress as a blitzer, but you saw development throughout the season in his timing and ability to avoid blocks and come free. He finished the season with 4 sacks and almost 20 pressures. In coverage, he is proficient working the hook/curl assignment in zone looks, but more impressively, he really thrived as a man defender.
Burning hot motor and competitive drive. Schwesinger brings the heat down in and down out. He plays with an enormous amount of energy and physicality. He plays bigger than his size and will let his pads do the talking.
Special teams ability is a huge bonus. Schwesinger has over 500 career ST reps on tape. Teams will value this, especially early on in his career.
One-year wonder. A former walk-on in 2021, Schwesinger didn’t get on the field on defense until this season.
Tendency of overplaying. At times, you will see him completely overrun the play and miss assignments. Occasionally, he will get tripped up by play action or motion fakes.
Needs to be more willing as a take-on player. Despite the physicality he plays with down in and down out, he is mostly a block slipper rather than someone who will come up, stick his face in a fan, and shed blocks.
In a weak linebacker class, Schwesinger is a sight for sore eyes. He is wired correctly and has "green dot" ability written all over him. He is a good athlete for the position and can make an impact on pass downs, which I value greatly. When I watch him play, I see an undersized version of Jack Campbell. He is a top-50 player for me overall.

Linearly explosive with great speed. Knight has great range and the ability to run with most assignments. His burst and top speed are good for the position.
Excellent instincts in the run game. Knight’s diagnose-and-react ability is excellent. He sees his keys in the run game quickly and comes downhill with authority to make tackles.
Productive player in coverage. Knight had 15 forced incompletions and 4 interceptions over the past two years, rare ball production for an off-ball linebacker at the college level. He relies on fantastic length and instincts to make it happen as a zone player.
Top-notch special-teams resume. Knight might have more special-teams snaps than any player in the draft (nearly 600). He thrives on teams, and is easily projectable as a core teams guy at the next level.
Change-of-direction skills are just adequate. Knight is a little stiff in his lower body and has difficulty with harsh lateral movements or quick starts and stops. It manifests most in coverage and on play fakes.
Older player. Knight played six years of college ball and will be 26 years old before his rookie season ends (January birthday). The more concerning part of the equation here is that he didn’t get on the field until his fifth season of college football, and for a "veteran" player, he still has a few warts.
Knight is another bright spot in a poor LB class. He has great size, length, athleticism, and plays with high-level intangibles. He is physical and has a fantastic special-teams resume, which should help him stick with a team. Knight initially popped for me during Senior Bowl week, where he was all over the place. He is not without warts, though, and is one of the oldest players in the Draft, which will destroy him on some boards. Officially, he scores as a top-60 player for me, but I admit I am likely to be significantly higher on him than most.
